Intercept an A2A delegated message

Goal: change one delegated instruction and verify the specialist receives the changed value.

Learn the complete flow first with:

ait lab start --exercise delegated-a2a-message

In the Lab drawer select Send exercise traffic, change /params/message/metadata/amount, and forward modified. The receiver and effect ledger prove the delivered value.

For a real target:

  1. Save the specialist's JSON-RPC or REST endpoint with ait connections add.
  2. Start interception and point the gateway agent at AIT's printed listener.
  3. Add a request break for message/send, or leave breaks empty to pause all.
  4. Trigger one delegated task.
  5. Select the pending request and edit the instruction under its exact /params/.../text pointer.
  6. Forward modified.
  7. Open the correlated response in the message history and confirm the specialist's observed value or controlled action log.
  8. Select Apply to future only if the same edit should repeat.

Dropping the message is useful for testing fallback behavior. Duplicating it is useful for idempotency and replay behavior. Neither action creates a finding automatically.
